Trocellen Ibérica fully operationals

The Trocellen plant in Spain is now fully operational. By producing ProGame shock pads locally, the company wants to be more flexible, respond more directly and efficiently to market requirements.

Trocellen Ibérica took over the licensed production and commercialisation of ProGame shock pads for the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco and the Latin American markets in March. “This strategic expansion represents an important milestone for Trocellen, strengthening our local presence and bringing ProGame Shock Pads significantly closer to customers and partners in these regions,” a spokesperson for the company said. “Shorter supply chains, improved lead times, lower CO2 emissions for transport and closer collaboration with local stakeholders allow us to tailor solutions more precisely to regional needs, while maintaining the high performance and quality standards ProGame is known for worldwide.” The regional focus should allow Trocellen to provide dedicated market support, local technical expertise and faster delivery, while strengthening long-term partnerships with customers, installers, designers and sports authorities throughout these regions.

Natural choice

The company calls Spain a natural choice for this expansion. “It is a strategic geographic position, has a well-developed industrial infrastructure as well as strong connection to both European and Latin American markets.” Trocellen views Spain as a key player in the sports and sports infrastructure sector, particularly in the development and renovation of synthetic turf systems. The plant is designed to manufacture polyolefin crosslinked foams that serve a wide range of other applications and industries that use Trocellen products as well.

At the same time, ProGame shock pads will continue to be produced in the existing plants in Germany, Italy and Malaysia. “This multi-site manufacturing approach guarantees supply security, operational flexibility and consistent product quality worldwide, while allowing regional production hubs to serve local markets more efficiently,” the spokesperson concludes.
