Sports Labs expands leadership team

Sports Labs Ltd has announced the expansion of their leadership team. Sean Ramsay, Niall MacPhee and Keith MacPherson have now also been appointed Associate Directors of the Company.

Sports Labs Ltd has announced the expansion of their leadership team. Sean Ramsay, Niall MacPhee and Keith MacPherson have now also been appointed Associate Directors of the Company.

Sports Labs is a consultancy practice specialising in synthetic surfaced sports facilities design, procurement, project management and testing services. It offers a full range of Civil Engineering services, complimented and supported by their fully equipped synthetic materials testing laboratory.

These appointments have been made because all three have been key to the development of the company in recent years.

Sean Ramsay will remain as head of Laboratory operations. He has been with Sports Labs since 2005 and was key in navigating Sports Labs through the UKAS / IS0 17025 accreditation process and the acquisition of governing body accreditations.
Niall MacPhee is leading the company business development drive both at home and abroad. With more than 11 years of experience in the sports surface testing industry, he is involved in governing body technical meetings and CEN working groups, advising on technical developments and delivering presentations internationally on the subjects of safety and performance testing, technical documents and best practice. MacPhee has also led testing teams globally on high-profile sporting projects in sports surface testing & Goal Line Technology.
Keith MacPherson remains as head of field operations as well as business manager of ProPitch Ltd, Sports Labs’ sister business. MacPherson has been with Sports Labs since 2006, completing his honours project with the company and then joining the field testing department on a full time basis in 2007. He has an unrivalled technical knowledge of the companies testing services and for that reason, is regularly involved in governing body technical meetings advising on specification developments.

Strengthening the leadership team is a move by the company to meet future challenges and opportunities. Recruitment and staff development over the next few years will allow the company to meet its objectives and play a key role in Sports Labs success.
