BIGGA comes to the rescue

The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) has launched an employment hub. The hub aims for connecting golf clubs in need for greenkeeping services and greenkeepers currently being unemployed. British employers made over 300,000 people redundant in June and July alone due to the Corona crisis.

Unemployed greenkeepers can advertise that they are available to work. Golf clubs in theirr area that have positions available – whether short term or permanent – will be able to contact BIGGA who will pass on their details to unemployed greenkeepers nearby.

This service is completely anonymous and free to BIGGA members.

The service can be found on the Careers section of the BIGGA website by clicking the Available for Work tab.
