Turfgrass, a specialist golf course project management and agronomy company from Ireland, have appointed Trevor Norris as Senior Agronomy Consultant. Norris will be working alongside the Director of Agronomy, Julian Mooney and supporting the Managing Director, John Clarkin on numerous Golf projects across the company’s client portfolio.
With over 23 years in the industry, Trevor Norris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organisation. For the last 10 years he has combined the role of Resort & Golf Course Superintendent at the five star luxury Castlemartyr Resort in Cork, Ireland, where, as well as Superintendent duties he was intricately involved in the construction and grow-in of the course. In addition to this position, Norris has worked as a consulting agronomist for 5 years on numerous courses in the UK, Central Europe and Scandinavia. His previous experience was as Course Superintendent at the Shannon Golf Club, Senior Greenkeeper in Lahinch Golf Club, Co. Clare, and further afield, in Scotland at Edzell Golf Club and at Gleneagles Golf Resort. He is a single digit golfer and as passionate about the sport as he is about the industry.
