ITA partners with Tarkett Sports

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced a new, two-year partnership with Tarkett Sports. With this partnership, Tarkett Sports will be named the “Official Sports Construction Partner of the ITA”.

Tarkett Sports has over 25 years experience in architectural design, full-scope construction services.

“We are delighted to partner with Tarkett Sports as the Official Sports Construction Partner of the ITA,” said ITA CEO David Mullins. “Their experience working with collegiate athletic departments and their comprehensive approach to facility design and construction make them a valuable resource for our membership. This partnership creates additional opportunities for our institutions to access knowledgeable support as they plan updates or improvements to their tennis facilities.”

With over 80,000 installations completed worldwide, Tarkett Sports is already well-versed in the collegiate space, having worked with the University of Wyoming, Oregon State University, Claremont McKenna College, and Carnegie Mellon University, to name a few recent projects.

“For Tarkett Sports, working with the ITA as its Official Sports Construction Partner is an exciting opportunity and a natural fit, given our extensive experience and commitment to safety and performance in sports”, said Drew Beynon, Executive Vice President, Beynon Sports North America, a part of Tarkett Sports specializing in leading surface solutions for tennis and track & field facilities. “We look forward to bringing that expertise to our collaborations as we support the continued development of thousands of student-athletes striving to realize their full potential.”

Together, the ITA and Tarkett Sports will work to provide collegiate tennis programs direct access to an industry leader in sports construction whether they are looking to minor updates or do a complete renovation of their facilities.
