This football club is looking to employ two Groundsperson Apprentices.
Alongside duties looking after the club’s pitches, successful applicants will work towards a Sports Turf Operative, (Level Two), qualification at Suffolk New College.
It is expected that the start date for the roles will be Monday 6th January 2025.
The Head Groundsman describes the job as: “This is an exciting opportunity for a young groundsman or groundswoman to make a major contribution to the pitches at both the training ground and the stadium and becoming a key part of the first team and academy backroom staff.”
“We are looking for people who are hard working, energetic and punctual. No experience is required as the successful applicants will be taught above and beyond what is required for the role.
“Anyone coming in must enjoy working outside in all weathers and be reasonably fit, as we do a fair amount of steps each day.”
