We are looking for a Greenkeeper to join our Greenkeeping Team
The key responsibilities are:
- Assisting the Greenkeeping Team in the general day to day maintenance of the golf course.
- Maintain all aspects of the golf course including the practice ground
- Maintain the golf course machinery as and when required.
- Have knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within the green keeping department and work within these guidelines
- Ensure that exceptional customer service skills and golf course etiquette are always practised when in contact with or in the area of members/guests.
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role as a Greenkeeper, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- NVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping
- Minimum 2 years of Greenkeeping experience
- Good communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Good awareness of the game & ideally a golfer
An NVQ level 2 in greenkeeping, turfcare machinery maintenance/training, PA1, PA2 & spraying certificates, chainsaw certificates, health & safety certificates would be an advantage.
