The Württembergische Landessportbund e.V., the umbrella organization for sports clubs and sports associations in Württemberg (Germany) has made money available to assist clubs in buying (maintenance) equipment.

The WLSB supports the sports clubs in the purchase of sports and maintenance equipment with money from the sports facility construction funding fund. However, the subsidies can only be granted with restrictions due to the shortage of state subsidies.

For funding applications, it must therefore be borne in mind that sports equipment is only subsidized from individual purchase costs of 2,000 euros and care equipment from 5,000 euros. The currently applicable regulations of the funding program can be found in the sports equipment funding guidelines.

For purchases made in 2020, the application must be submitted by January 31, 2021 at the latest. However, applications can be submitted to the WLSB at any time. In order to avoid a processing backlog at the end of the year, clubs and municipalities should submit their application for funding as soon as possible after the purchase.
