The Grounds Management Association has announced that Groundsweek 2025 will be celebrated from 17-23 March.

Groundsweek is the Grounds Management Association’s annual nationwide celebration of the dedicated professionals and volunteers who work behind the scenes to make playing surfaces and green spaces thrive.

“It’s a week dedicated to highlighting the skill, expertise, and hard work of grounds staff, inspiring greater appreciation for their invaluable contributions,” its statement read.

“GroundsWeek is an opportunity to showcase achievements and encourage others to explore a rewarding career in grounds management.”

The GMA is calling on everybody to share their experiences in grounds management on social media, using the hashtag #GroundsWeek. Topics that can be considered include:

• Experiences
• Highlights showing the impact work has on communities, sports, and the environment
• Inspirations to inspire others to appreciate and support our vital industry

The GMA has prepared a toolkit and is calling on all professionals to download it and use it in the run-up to and during this week. The toolkit can be downloaded here
