The Golf Course Environmental Profile survey program will be administered by GCSAA. The information will be analysed independently by J. Bryan Unruh, Professor of Environmental Horticulture at the University of Florida, and Travis Shaddox. Assistant Professor at University of Kentucky, who specialises in Soil Fertility and Turfgrass Nutrition.
All superintendents who complete the surveys will receive 0.50 service points and be entered into prize draws.
“The information from the previous GCEP surveys has been invaluable to our advocacy efforts as it provides scientific documentation of golf’s sustainable practices,” said GCSAA Rhett Evans. “Participation in the survey is crucial to measure change and protect the future of the industry.”
The results from the water use survey will be announced later in 2025 and compared against previous surveys. Phase IV is funded through the GCSAA Foundation with support from the USGA.
