FSB Italy launches congress and exhibition

Koelnmesse Italia is set to host two-days with conferences and exhibition in November 2026. The event will be organised with the support of Technical and Cultural Partner Move City Sport and under the patronage of AIS, Italian Association for Sports Facilities.

FSB Forum Italy will be a key Italian event dedicated to the sector of sports facilities, urban design, and recreational structures.

It will be hosted on 11 and 12 November 2026, preceding the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With over 750,000 sports facilities across Europe, 77,000 of which are in Italy, guidelines on the direction of public and EU investments, as well as innovations and methodologies for construction and redevelopment, have become strategic for all stakeholders in the sector.

In this context, FSB Forum Italy is born – a new B2B platform designed to bring together professionals, operators, and public administration from Italy in a two-day event featuring presentations and exhibitions of the most interesting innovations. The event will also feature workshops and conferences aimed at providing practical updates for the sport & leisure system and generating new business opportunities.

Bergamo as hosting city

On Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 November 2026, the new trade fair will open its doors at the exhibition centre in Bergamo, offering industry professionals the chance to maximize their experience while minimizing the organizational effort typical of a traditional fair. Bergamo was specifically chosen because it is easily accessible, thanks to its proximity to Orio al Serio Airport and main motorway and railway routes.

Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia declared: “We are thrilled to announce this new conference and trade fair project in collaboration with Move City Sport, our cultural and technical sponsor, with the aim of establishing itself as a meeting point for the sports facilities industry and for all public and private stakeholders involved at various levels in the planning and redevelopment of areas designated for sports and leisure. This is a new challenge that boasts significant collaborations with major associations and draws inspiration from the consolidated know-how and long-standing tradition of FSB Cologne, the international leading trade fair held in Cologne since 1969.”
