The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has re-approved the eleven companies previously recognised as Preferred Suppliers under the FIH Quality Programme for Hockey Turf. The approval will now be valid until 2028.
The Quality Programme for Hockey Turf is part of the FIH Quality Programme that sets the global benchmark for pitches, products, and materials, ensuring consistent performance, safety, and durability from grassroots to the Olympic Games. For over 40 years, the Programme has helped deliver great hockey, everywhere.
The Preferred Supplier category is an internationally recognised quality-assurance scheme that supports the delivery of high-quality hockey fields at all levels of the game, from community development and schools to international and elite competition. It provides confidence that approved turf systems meet the highest standards for performance, consistency, player welfare, and durability.

With Preferred Suppliers located across the globe, the worldwide availability of top-quality, FIH-approved hockey turf systems is assured, supporting both the growth of the game and long-term facility investment.
In 2025 alone, FIH certified over 200 top-quality hockey fields, built in 26 countries, with over 90% of those pitches featuring turfs manufactured by FIH Preferred Suppliers, highlighting the Programme’s central role in delivering trusted quality worldwide.
