French company Eurocob, the producer of corn infill used in third-generation synthetic turf surfaces, will increase its production capacity.
The company will invest more than two million euros to increase its production capacity in its plant in the Hautes-Pyrénées, France.
The company, which recycles corn cobs for industry, is also planning to diversify its products.
At present, Eurocob collects around 25,000 tonnes of corn cobs per year. In addition to the use as an infill in third-generation synthetic turf pitches, these cobs are sold for use in animal health and nutrition products, surface treatments, and cosmetics.
