FieldTurf-Tarkett reports that the recycling process and management system for the production of Promax-R (performance infill for synthetic turf football pitches) has been audited and certified for EuCertPlast.

EuCertPlast is a project that aims to realize and maintain a European certification for post-consumer plastic. This project is co-financed by the European Commission under the Eco-innovation program. The certification is based on European Standard EN 15343: 2007 and focuses on environmentally friendly recycling, increasing transparency, the volumes to be recycled and the traceability of collected material. All this to provide more clarity about the origin and environmental friendliness of the material.

Promax is manufactured at Morton Extrusionstechnik. The company is the first to receive the EuCertPlast certification for recycling old artificial grass. The certification guarantees that plastic waste from worn artificial grass is reused in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
