The European Standards Committee (CEN) has published CEN/TR 17519:2020 “Guidance on how to minimize infill dispersion into the environment”. The document describes various containment measures possible to prevent the dispersion of infill from third generation artificial turf fields.

Sports governing bodies like FIFA and World Rugby have adopted the content and added it to their latest releases of their standards.
