BRT Agronomy and Aqua Turf International announce associate partnership

BRT Agronomy has partnered with Aqua Turf International (ATI) to elevate golf irrigation and agronomic standards across Asia.

The new alliance aims to benefit from ATI’s irrigation planning and design expertise with BRT agronomic consulting and project advisory capacity. Together, the two firms will offer a fully integrated approach to golf course development, renovation, and sustainability throughout Southeast Asia and India.

“We’re excited to partner with Aqua Turf International to deliver complete, regionally tailored solutions for golf courses,” said Brad Revill, managing director of BRT Agronomy. “This partnership allows us to offer clients seamless support across agronomy, irrigation design, and project execution — ensuring high performance on every level, from playability to water efficiency.”

Regional response

Like elsewhere in the world, golf courses across Asia face mounting pressure from rising temperatures, changing rainfall patterns, water scarcity, and ageing irrigation systems. Courses are seeking smarter, more efficient systems that reduce water and electricity use while maintaining high-quality turf.

As part of the agreement, BRT Agronomy will serve as a regional associate for ATI. According to a statement, the company will provide clients with access to full-service irrigation design — including audits, master planning, water use studies, schematic and technical design, and on-site construction support.

The collaboration will streamline communication between consultants, contractors, and club management and, as such, should make the planning and execution process more efficient.

“Having worked alongside ATI on several high-profile projects, we’ve already seen the value of this partnership in action,” added Brad Revill. “Clients benefit from independent, data-driven solutions that prioritise sustainability and long-term return on investment.”

“This associate partnership allows us to extend ATI’s world-class services through a trusted agronomic partner with local insight,” said Jim Schumacher, president of Aqua Turf International. “Brad’s reputation and field knowledge in Asia make this a natural fit, and we’re confident clients will see immediate value.”
