AstroTurf Soccer XI Arena system for Aalborg KFUM

Aalborg KFUM in Denmark has taken ownership of its 11,000 m2 AstroTurf Soccer XI Arena system multi-purpose field.
The full size pitch also facilitates two 5-a-side pitches. It has multi-color lines for multiple game options; yellow lines for 7-a-side games and blue lines for soccer 3-a-side.
AstroTurf uses a S-Curved yarn that is strengthened with two ProSpines to make the yarn strong and durable. AstroTurf refers to the yarn as a wide-body yarn ‘that covers the infill and is flexible in all directions’ hence it should contribute to optimal ball roll conditions.
Last year the same system was installed at the Top Swedish soccer club IFK Norrköping. Here the system was completed with an E-Layer and EPDM infill.
