The grounds team of the Los Angeles Rams used over 600 litres of paint to give the field of State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the familiar look the team is used to.

The LA Rams American Football team is forced to play its home games away from its SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, due to the wildfires that currently ravage the area. Last night they played the Minnesota Vikings at the venue in Arizona.

To that end, the Rams apparently imported several hundred litres of paint in order to rework the interior of the stadium and change it from the Cardinals’ red and black to the Rams’ blue and yellow.

2,000-kilometre trek

According to Mark Dalton, a Cardinals media member, a truck arrived at State Farm Stadium hauling in 600 litres of paint in the Rams’ colours. Apparently, the truck drove over 2,000 kilometres to get to the stadium in time.
